Bank Holiday arrangements - please note that the surgery will be closed on Monday 25th May. It will reopen on Tuesday 26th May at 08.30 (telephones at 08.00). Symptoms and what to do:

Self isolate if you have either:

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • notice a change to or have a loss of smell
  • notice a change to or have a loss of taste

If anyone in your household has these symptoms, you must self isolate for 14 days.

To protect others, do not go to places like a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. Stay at home, stay alert.

Through it, you can make suggestions which may enhance the operation of the Practice.

The PPG is run for you by patients in co-operation with staff, organising events to inform you of medical topics about which you should know and about new services offered by the practice.

Keep your eye on our notice boards in the reception areas of Wednesfield Surgery, and Bushbury Health Centre.

If you feel you could contribute to the group or have any suggestions on how we can help you, please take a form from our notice board, fill it in and hand it to a receptionist who will ensure that it is passed onto the group.
